COATED ABRASIVES

i) ABRASIVE FLAP WHEELS AND SPINDLE MOP WHEELS:

These wheels are versatile, high performing abrasive tool designed for grinding, cleaning and polishing of tubes, concave and convex surfaces, channels and recessed areas on a variety of surfaces.
They are made out of coated abrasive strips which are reinforced at the centre with a strong, flexible and resilient adhesive. These wheels are made from Resin Bonded Aluminium Oxide grains with cloth backing.

Spindle Mop Wheels:
Sizes available from 15mm to 80mm dia and width from 10mm to 50mm, grits ranging from 36 to 800.

Flap Wheels:
Sizes available in 100,150, 200, 250, 300, 350mm in dia and 13 to 50mm width. grits ranging from 36 to 800.

Applications:
Surface preparation of Ferrous / Non Ferrous materials, Burr removal on fabricated surface or threaded metal, general decorative finishes, rust removal, surface preparation prior to electropating etc.

ii) ABRASIVE ENDLESS BELTS:

These belts are available with Aluminium Oxide or Silicon Carbide grain in various width and length. Suitable belts are available for normal flat surface or contour grinding of profiled components.

Sizes:
Available in width from 13mm to 455mm and in length upto 8000mm, grits ranging from 24 to 800.

Applications:
Grinding and finishing of ferrous and non ferrous metals, wood working, leather, glass, ceramics, rubber, marble etc.

 

iii) ABRASIVE ROLLS:

These rolls are available in Emery (black), Resin Bonded Electro Coated Aluminium Oxide and Silicon Carbide grain with paper or cloth backing.

Sizes:
Available in width from 13mm to 915mm and in length 50 metres, grits ranging from 24 to 800.

Applications:
Best suitable for stock removal and high quality surface finish on various item of stainless steel, brassware, die casting, wood article etc.
